Past ... Future ... Present

Here's to the future because I'm closing the lid on the past. Looking ahead because there is no reason to keep looking behind. Learn what you can from the past but do not stand in it, don't clasp it so tenderly to your breast. Gone it is, don't hold onto it; for not behind but ahead you must look. Yet, while looking ahead to see all that which is possible, remain grounded in the present so you don't miss the joy, the beauty, and the pleasure of the here and now.
