Little Encounters

Cute kid on my bus. He came on with his mom. I asked him, "would you like my seat?" He said, "yes." Then he said, "thank you." He was then forced to repeat this because his mother loudly said, " say it loudly so she can hear you." he he he. He obeyed, sat down, then turned around to me:

Kid: Tomorrow is my birthday

Me: Oh, that's nice

Kid: I'm going to be 7

Me: That's a very good number

Kid: My present is in that bag (pointing to his mother's shopping bag)

Me: (turning to his mother) I hope so.

Oh my, he was such a little treat 🥰
