The sun flowed in and they came alive The heaviness lifted from their faces , dissipating gloom They smiled at each other, no longer barking remarks, trampling on each other The windows to their hearts now open to let in the rays of sunshine that long beat at their doors The bitterness was shed, the rust removed; their very being renewed, a detailed car No hints of decay, no signs of pain Wrinkles removed without surgery, replaced with dancing crow lines Life shot across their faces, racing to awaken tired eyes and weary bones Pleasure streamed, releasing undue pressure that kept them weighed down An ebb and flow of newness sparked within, impossibilities now made possible The dawn replaced by day splendid, divine
