It is sure to happen

It never stays the same way, because surely there is tomorrow. As certain as day follows night and night follows day, change will happen. Do not be disheartened nor think to rush ahead when the hour lengthens into two and time seems to crawl. In the dark, fiercely focus and see shapes begin to appear where once only was a formless void. It is the easiest thing to recommend but the hardest to follow through; this patience of which I speak. This patience in waiting. It challenges me, my strong man at the carnival who stops me time and time again from ringing the bell. Life seems to be going by, only I seemingly being left behind. This false sense of motion traps me as I stare openly at the lives of others, seemingly moving, going places; change is happening not hanging. Do not despair, challenge yourself not to think but to step away from the din and really look upon it all. Move an inch and the view changes, perspective shifting from where you just stood. Okay, go long, take a mile and watch curves become straight lines. It never stays the same, because as sure as there is tomorrow, change will happen.
