In the cycle of change, I found reconciliation

Sitting on the verandah, I see the change the trees have been going through since early October. Some have practically shed all their leaves, while others have some stragglers. A few have managed to hold on to their greenery for a bit longer than others, yet in a few days or weeks, they too will be just as bare as their neighbours. And I reconciled myself to the fact that 'change comes whether we want it to or not'. And in this reconciliation, I find peace that just as the leaves shed every year so too the next year they will return in all their glory 🌺
