Hello Old Friend

It has been a while since we last spoke. I haven't forgotten you. Oh no, in fact you have been with me on that other journey I have been taking, with pen and paper. We started up again last year, around spring/summer. A friend of mine encouraged me to get back into writing...and it turns out we both love writing by hand, especially when we have beautiful paper on which to write :-) Writing has always been my muse. I write for me and for that one other person who may just feel the same way too , whether that celebration, that loss, or that bewilderment that steps in for a minute every now and then. At first, it was hard to download my thoughts on paper, with my hand barely keeping up with the jumbling mess that threatened to tumble out or just to actually get those thoughts out, captured for eternity in bold crisps strokes that soon became illegible as the thoughts raced on and I tried to put them all down as they tumbled, before they rolled away forgotten. So you see my friend, I haven't left you ...no, you have happily been keeping me company all this time. I just wanted to stop by to let you know, just in case you thought otherwise.
